We are thrilled to announce that EatLove has been selected as one of the winners of the Yes/Boston Innovation Challenge, led by UpLink, the World Economic Forum's Centre for Urban Transformation, and supported by Amazon Web Services, Citi, Deloitte, MassChallenge, and more.

Alongside 11 other pioneering startups, we are joining a coalition of innovators building healthier, more resilient food systems in one of the world's great healthcare cities. For EatLove, this recognition is more than a milestone; it's an invitation to prove that Food Is Medicine can scale.

What Is Yes/Boston?

Boston is a living laboratory. With nearly 1,000 biotech firms, world-class hospitals, and leading universities, it sits at a rare intersection of research excellence and real-world deployment capacity. And yet, many Boston communities continue to face significant barriers to accessing affordable, nutritious food, barriers that directly contribute to preventable disease, persistent health disparities, and cycles of food insecurity that no city of Boston's stature should accept.

Yes/Boston is the World Economic Forum's answer to that gap. Part of the global Yes/Cities initiative, it brings together public, private, nonprofit, and community leaders around a shared challenge: building a healthier, more resilient food system from the ground up, in a city positioned to show the world how it's done. Boston is the third Yes/Cities flagship, joining San Francisco and Bengaluru.

EatLove was recognized for its work at the intersection of the challenge’s core focus areas including: expanding access to nutritious food and personalized meal guidance, and scaling provider- and health system-led pathways that connect people to the food and health information they need to thrive.

The Problem We're Solving

Across the United States, diet-related chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity are devastating communities and overwhelming healthcare systems. The science on what to eat has never been clearer, yet the path from that science to someone's plate has never been harder to navigate.

The barrier isn't motivation. It's friction, the daily work of translating a nutrition prescription into real meals, real grocery lists, and real choices at restaurants, day after day, for people managing real lives. That is exactly where EatLove was built to operate.

"This initiative is unique because it connects global resources with an incredible local network of more than 30 organizations," said Monique Nadeau, CEO and Co-Founder of EatLove. "With the combined support of the city, state, healthcare systems, employers, and community organizations, we can move incredibly fast. We are ready to roll out EatLove's Nutrition Intelligence® platform across Boston and beyond, proving that the right technology can close unfair health gaps and change lives."

How EatLove Works: Two Sides of One Platform

For individuals: EatLove turns your health goals into a personalized daily meal feed, complete with dietitian-curated recipes, smart restaurant recommendations, and grocery delivery through Instacart, Amazon, Walmart, and more. Our Nutrition Intelligence® engine evaluates nearly 5 million dietary factors to deliver recommendations tailored to your specific health conditions, preferences, lifestyle, budget, and family. No more guessing. No more friction.

For health systems and providers: EatLove is a HIPAA-compliant platform built for physicians, dietitians, and health system care teams. It enables clinicians to prescribe, deliver, and monitor personalized nutrition plans at scale, reducing the administrative burden on providers while deepening patient engagement between appointments. Providers set the prescription. EatLove does the daily work of making it something patients can actually follow.

Food and nutrition belong at the center of care, not on the margins. EatLove gives health systems, practices, and individuals the infrastructure to make that a reality and Yes/Boston gives us the ecosystem to prove it.

What's Next

Being named a Yes/Boston Innovation Challenge winner means more than recognition, it means resources, relationships, and reach. Alongside 12 fellow cohort members tackling complementary pieces of the food and health system puzzle, we'll have access to Boston's leading healthcare institutions, policy leaders, and community organizations. The Food and Nutrition Innovation Institute at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University brings additional clinical depth to everything we build. And the World Economic Forum's platform means that what we prove in Boston has the visibility to scale far beyond it.

If you're a health system, insurer, employer, or community organization looking to put food and nutrition at the center of your health strategy, we’d love to connect. Schedule a team call here.
