As you embark on your health journey, it’s important to recognize that our routines may look a little different these days. Many of us embraced significant lifestyle changes like working from home, shopping online for groceries, and many more. While some of these changes may be our new normal one thing remains - all of these changes are an opportunity for you to reevaluate your relationship with food and embrace healthier habits and better nutrition — one step at a time. Even now, families are spending more time together and people are cooking at home more than ever, which is changing the dynamics of mealtimes.
We want you to remember that progress is a series of small, sometimes imperceptible, improvements that add up over time. It’s the decision to drink water over a soda when you order out. It’s the conscious decision to park your car further from the entrance of the grocery store so you can get more steps in. It’s about all of the little decisions you make every day that affect your physical and mental health.
"Being healthy isn't just about what you do in the gym or in the kitchen — it's about the in-between too and how it all fits together. I started my fitness journey because I wanted to be strong and healthy for myself and the people who depend on me. But it was important that I did it my way, which meant I needed working out to fit in my life, NOT take me away from it." — Ayesha Curry
